Mission: To give everyone a ‘voice’ to talk about mental health and wellbeing.

Purpose: To promote research projects and provide platforms for open and honest discussion around the topic of mental health and wellbeing in childhood and education; through publications, conferences, public and professional engagement, networking, events and workshops.

Aim: We want to make an impact academically and in the context of society and the economy. We aim to become the main providers of leading research in the field and use this to facilitate communication and collaboration between professionals, researchers, students and service users alike; to empower people to talk about mental health in childhood and education openly and honestly.

Outcome: We’re here to facilitate conversation and action for the mental health and wellbeing in childhood and education, and assist the translation from academic research in to real world contexts; including influencing policy and practice. We will host events, conferences, workshops, networking and web-based resources designed to assist collaboration between professionals, researchers, students and service users alike to share experiences and ideas and develop best practice.
